The subject of the project has been proposed by students of Secondary School No 24
named European Union in Poznań, Poland. The project was concerned with various
sociological, cultural aspects and peculiarity of inhabitable region in the past and
present. The tasks to be designed by our students were dealing with the wide spectrum of
human activities: e.g. various artefacts of material and psychical culture and the use of modern communication technologies. Final conclusion
drawn out from the project will indicate our students a uniformity of European culture in
spite of various countries and that purposefulness of an international collaboration is
very important.

The following tasks were taken in the project:

Mutual presentation of schools (exchanging
materials about schools environment and peculiarity). |

National minorities of the given region (their
customs, festivals etc.). |
| 3. |
Collecting materials to the topic "Autumn
time" of legends and superstitions. |
| 4. |
Christmas, New Years Eve, carnival - customs,
differences and similitarities (description, recording, documenting, making decorations). |
| 5. |
Preparing materials and presentation of some
very great person ( for example: historical) came from our regions. |
| 6. |
Searching remains of folklor in modern live
(what is still keeping on). |
| 7. |
Searching materials about styles of live
20...50 years ago (interviews, old news-papers, private photos etc.). |
| 8. |
The ways of resting and spending free time by
people in our regions. |
